Cudeca is holding its traditional ‘Walkathon’ on the 3rd June on Benalmadena’s seafront promenade (opposite the Sunset Beach Club Hotel). This event aims to raise funds to care for and accompany people with cancer and other advanced illnesses, plus offering support to their families.

The presentation ceremony was attended by ambassadors from the IDILIQ Foundation together with authorities from Benalmádena, the Provincial Council and representatives from Cudeca.

“The Walkathon is already a classic: every year we participate in this charity walk for the benefit of Cudeca, where we also enjoy live musical performances, games for the little ones, and a great paella. With the exception of the pandemic years, when it was held virtually, every year we have participated in an event whose aim is to raise funds so that Cudeca can continue its valuable work, which brings life and light in the difficult last moments of the disease,” said the town’s mayor, Victor Navas.

The march will feature two walking routes of 5km and 10km, a Holi colour party and a large paella. After the solidarity routes, different charity activities will be held thanks to the collaboration of the activities and events company Exploramás; and there will be live music, games for the little ones, a raffle and many more surprises.

Registration and further information about the walk and its various activities are available on the Cudeca Foundation website.
