The IDILIQ Foundation has donated six handrails for the beds of the users of the residence of the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer patients and other dementias of Fuengirola-Mijas Costa. The donation ceremony saw attendance from both organisations’ representatives and Cristina Bornao, the Councillor for Families, Equality, and Social Welfare of Fuengirola Town Council.

Nicky Graydon, the ambassador for the IDILIQ Foundation, expressed her gratitude towards AFA for their significant efforts and emphasised, “We will continue to support them and attend to their needs, as long as it is within our means.”

Paqui Lebrón, the president of AFA, mentioned the timely nature of the donation, “Due to deterioration, there was a need to replace the slats of all the beds, making this donation particularly valuable.”

Founded in early 2003, AFA Fuengirola-Mijas Costa aims to provide optimal support and well-being for patients and their families. It focuses on enhancing the quality of life for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias through psychological and social support.
