The “Soles de Málaga” Solidarity Festival once again illuminated La Malagueta, drawing a crowd of over 3,000 attendees on April 27. This year marked the fifth instalment of the festival, a heartfelt initiative spearheaded by the El Pimpi Foundation, dedicated to supporting the elderly across the province.

After a morning of uncertain weather, the skies cleared by early afternoon, bringing relief and joy to the dedicated team of workers and volunteers. Their unwavering commitment, tireless effort, and enthusiasm formed the backbone of this remarkable event. For the fifth consecutive year, the volunteers from the IDILIQ Foundation stood in solidarity with this noble cause, offering their support, dedication, and energy.

The Plaza de Toros was filled with visitors who revelled in the music and shared laughter, which contributed to the unique atmosphere that has become synonymous with the festival.

The proceeds from this year’s festival will be shared among various deserving organisations. Three projects – Asimás, Fundación Cudeca, and Fundación Harena – will receive half of the total funds raised, supporting a range of initiatives. The remaining 50% will benefit eight additional causes, including AFA and Huellas Terapeúticas, APAFFER, AROAL, ARRABAL, ASALBEZ, Asociación Hogar Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, and Asociación Lupus.
