Approximately 200 participants joined the third Smile Mile to support the Spanish Cancer Association. Employees, volunteers, and supporters of the IDILIQ Foundation celebrated the event, attended by representatives from the Town Councils of Mijas and Fuengirola, alongside the AECC.

Juan Miguel Marcos, President of the IDILIQ Foundation, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the event’s fun, festive, and family-friendly atmosphere. He noted that this edition is part of their internal breast cancer awareness campaign, organised every October by the foundation’s volunteers and employees. The event also marks the 25th Anniversary of the Foundation, with support from Mijas Town Council, Civil Protection, Vithas, Ambulancias Andalucía, Los Malagueños, and the IES Ana Carmona ‘Veleta’.

The route started and ended at the San Diego Suites entrance, winding through the resort. Participants enjoyed awards for the youngest and oldest participants and best costumes, followed by entertainment, food, drinks, and a market featuring AECC articles, crafts, IDILIQ merchandise, and personalised mugs.

Through initiatives like this, the IDILIQ Foundation reaffirms its commitment to breast cancer research. Thank you to everyone for your support and collaboration
