For over a decade, the IDILIQ Foundation has proudly supported the ‘Christmas Campaign’ by Los Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche. This year, the Mijas-based organisation has donated funds for 500 Christmas menus. These meals will be distributed on December 24th to support Malaga’s most vulnerable families.
Juan Miguel Marcos, President of the IDILIQ Foundation, praised the incredible work of Los Ángeles Malagueños, “For many years, they have done amazing work, and our Foundation has collaborated with them on various initiatives, such as helping set up their kitchen. One of the efforts we are most proud of is the Christmas Campaign. The 500 charity menus we donate ensure that those who are unfortunately unable to celebrate a traditional Christmas can still enjoy a special meal,” he shared.
This meaningful donation was celebrated by Mijas Councillor for Social Inclusion, Melisa Ceballos, who emphasised the importance of collaboration, “Partnerships between organisations are essential and much-needed. There are areas we, as a council, can’t always reach, but foundations like IDILIQ make it possible for initiatives like this to happen,” she stated.
Every day, the volunteers at Los Ángeles Malagueños prepare over 2,500 meals for the most disadvantaged. During the holiday season, they work tirelessly to ensure their users can enjoy a Christmas Eve meal that feels as close as possible to a traditional family celebration.
