The Spanish Association Against Cancer has celebrated with great success the second edition of the charity dinner ‘Together Against Cancer’ at the Hotel Higuerón Resort, bringing together more than 300 guests in an unforgettable night of solidarity.
Ambassadors and volunteers from the IDILIQ Foundation once again joined the AECC in an evening that was attended by prominent authorities from the province and the Andalusian Regional Government.
One of the highlights of the evening was the charity auction, featuring a mural by artist José Rulos. This artwork, a tribute to Rafa Nadal’s career and personally signed by him and the Davis Cup teams who competed in Malaga, fetched an impressive €25,000 and will remain on display at the Higuerón Resort.
All proceeds from the gala will go entirely to cancer research and to the free services that the Association provides at its Fuengirola, Mijas, Benalmádena and Torremolinos offices for the benefit of cancer patients and their families.
The Spanish Association Against Cancer has been the leading organisation in the fight against cancer for 70 years. It dedicates its efforts to showing the reality of cancer in Spain, detecting areas for improvement and setting in motion a process of social transformation to correct them in order to obtain a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to cancer.
