The I Popular Solidarity Race, ‘Running for Home Nazaret’, transformed the main streets of Linares into a lively scene on February 15.
The IDILIQ Foundation joined this meaningful sports and fundraising event, aimed at supporting educational and health programs for the children and adolescents of Home Nazareth. This large rescue centre in Peru offers sanctuary to minors living in extreme moral, emotional, and material poverty.
Home Nazareth’s mission is to restore the right to a family, dignity, love, identity, and hope for a brighter future. The Foundation works closely with the children’s environment to ensure stable futures by supporting families and future guardians. They provide ongoing follow-up and work to heal current challenges, enabling reintegration with the care and support every child deserves.
The I Popular Solidarity Race was a resounding success, thanks to the efforts of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of the Pillar Parish. It was organised with the collaboration of the Linares City Council, neighbourhood associations, and local sports clubs.
