Literature, music, and entertainment united to support Amalia Campos, a Mijas resident facing social exclusion.
The IDILIQ Foundation proudly contributed to this vital initiative by donating the paella enjoyed by attendees at Saturday’s event. Ambassadors and volunteers from the Foundation joined the solidarity event, organised by the Mijas Town Hall’s Department of Culture and the Sembrando Sonrisas Association.
The event featured children’s activities and live performances. To mark World Poetry Day, local authors from the Asociación Cultural Amigos de la Literatura (Friends of Literature Cultural Association) led reading workshops, showcased their books, and donated a portion of their sales.
Rosa Planelles, president of Sembrando Sonrisas, expressed her gratitude to all supporters and collaborators, presenting them with tokens of appreciation.
Amalia Campos, deeply moved by the support during a challenging economic period, shared, ‘I am speechless and so grateful for everything they are doing.’
