The staff at our Tenerife resorts organised various solidarity activities on 15 April to mark World Down Syndrome Day.
Our amazing Team Marina departments at RamadaCA, Wyndham Costa Adeje, and Wyndham Golf del Sur led a vibrant campaign filled with enthusiasm and creativity. Guests joined in games and entertainment, with highlights including a performance by the band Soul Brothers at RamadaCA.
Thanks to the generosity of our excursion partners, a raffle was also held. The standout prize, a week’s accommodation on the Costa del Sol or Tenerife, was won by a guest of Ramada Residences by Wyndham Costa Adeje.
The day was marked by a cheerful and inclusive atmosphere, with guests showing remarkable generosity and solidarity. Employees also participated in the “mismatched socks” initiative to raise awareness and celebrate the diversity that makes us all unique.
The campaign raised €2,644.29, which will be matched by the IDILIQ Foundation, bringing the total donation to Down Tenerife to €5,300. These funds will support programmes aimed at improving the quality of life for people with Down’s Syndrome and meeting their needs and those of their families.
