On April 26th, the El Pimpi Foundation united over 3,000 people for the VI Malaga Suns Festival to address poverty and social exclusion.
For the sixth consecutive year, IDILIQ Foundation volunteers joined the cause, offering unwavering support, dedication, and enthusiasm. Held at the Plaza de Toros de la Malagueta, the event featured music and activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and solidarity.
The proceeds from the festival were dedicated to meaningful initiatives. Half of the funds went to three key projects:
- Saving children’s lives in Kenya through the NGO Nena Paine.
- Providing job opportunities and supporting inclusion for migrants in the city via the Dyar Association.
- Supporting individuals in social emergencies and poverty prevention through the work of Includd in the Carretera de Cádiz.
The remaining 50% was distributed among eight additional organisations, including Afenes, Amfremar, Inpavi, La Casa de la Buena Vida, Asociación de Vecinos Lagunillas, Altamar, Asociación Nada es Imposible, and Adintre, expanding support to various community causes.
