The IDILIQ Foundation has proudly presented a cheque for €10,000 to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Malaga, following its internal Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

This year, as in previous years, IDILIQ Group employees demonstrated exceptional dedication and enthusiasm, organising a variety of charity activities throughout October to support AECC patients and their families. Activities included Pilates classes, breakfasts, lunches, raffles, and T-shirt sales, with both employees and customers uniting once again for this important cause.

The campaign culminated in an emotional gathering attended by the Mijas Municipal Corporation, led by the Mayor of Mijas, Ana Mata, alongside Francisco José Martín, Delegate for Care Centres, Third Sector, and International Cooperation of the Provincial Council of Malaga. Representatives from the AECC in Malaga, Mijas, and Fuengirola were also present.

Juan Miguel Marcos, President of the IDILIQ Foundation, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all employees involved, stating: “Thank you for your collaboration and dedication in organising this incredible solidarity initiative. Once again, you have made this campaign a resounding success.”

Alfredo Herrera, Provincial Vice-President of the AECC, explained that the donation will be used to fund research and provide care for cancer patients and their families.

Mayor Ana Mata also praised the remarkable solidarity shown by IDILIQ Group employees and its Foundation, which continues to maintain strong ties with the social needs of the municipality throughout the year.
