The IDILIQ Foundation is once again demonstrating its commitment to Los Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche, particularly during this special time of year. The Mijas-based organisation is proud to collaborate with the soup kitchen’s Christmas Campaign, ensuring that no user goes without a Christmas Eve dinner.
For nearly a decade, volunteers from the IDILIQ Foundation have supported this vital organisation, which provides essential social services to the most vulnerable members of the community. This partnership was further strengthened today with the presentation of a cheque to fund 500 Christmas meals, which will be distributed on 23 December at the NGO’s headquarters.
Juan Miguel Marcos, President of the IDILIQ Foundation, praised the year-round efforts of Los Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche and stressed the importance of continued support: “We are proud to play our part in this Christmas campaign, reinforcing our commitment to helping those most in need,” he said.
The soup kitchen, which has been operating for 19 years, prepares 300 breakfasts, 300 lunches, and 300 sandwich bags for dinner every day, serving people who are homeless or living in extremely precarious conditions: “At Christmas, the number of users increases, and we want this menu to feel extra special. We are deeply grateful to the IDILIQ family for their donation,” said Adolfo Aldana, the organisation’s secretary and treasurer.
This year’s Christmas Eve menu will include half a roast chicken, a potato omelette, fruit, and traditional Christmas cakes.
