The IDILIQ Foundation and the ‘Superheroes. One Child, One Smile’ association has once again joined forces for their annual Christmas toy donation campaign.
This year, over 500 brand-new toys have been donated to the CADI Association, which supports families with children with functional diversity in Marbella and the Costa del Sol. The donations also extended to seven shelters that the association collaborates with, spreading joy to even more children in need.
Hernán Lara, ambassador for the IDILIQ Foundation, shared: “We’re thrilled to be back with our toy collection campaign, and this year we’ve taken it a step further. We travelled to Marbella to bring smiles to some wonderful children who have truly touched our hearts.”
The ‘Superheroes. One Child, One Smile’ association focuses on supporting young children, particularly by making their hospital stays more comfortable and uplifting. “Our mission is to brighten the children’s time at the Materno Infantil hospital,” Lara added. “The most important thing is to make them happy and bring smiles to their faces.”
The CADI Association, which supports over 170 families, expressed deep gratitude for the donations. Its president, Ángela Sánchez, explained: “Many of our families face financial hardship due to the high cost of therapies. These donations are a huge help. Additionally, some of our families include children from shelters, so we’ve decided to extend this support to those centres as well, ensuring every child receives a new toy.”
Founded in November 2012 by a group of parents, CADI is a non-profit organisation dedicated to addressing the needs of children with disabilities – whether physical, intellectual, or sensory – across all age groups.
