Collecting 250 units of blood every day, 365 days a year, is the primary goal of the Malaga Centre for Blood, Tissue and Cell Transfusion. Achieving this is no small feat, but the IDILIQ team has provided a valuable boost with the launch of its ninth blood donation campaign.
Around 40 participants visited the mobile unit of the Malaga Regional Blood Transfusion Centre, driven by their dedication to this vital cause. This year’s campaign surpassed the previous one, with a total of 37 successful donations. These donations will be distributed to public and private hospitals across the province, helping to save lives.
Juan Miguel Marcos, President of the IDILIQ Foundation, celebrated the success of the initiative, stating: “We are very proud to have been running this campaign for nine years now. This year, we have also seen a greater turnout of volunteers, employees, and customers.”
The Regional Centre for Blood, Tissue and Cell Transfusion in Málaga has expressed its heartfelt gratitude on behalf of all those whose lives depend on these donations.
