On 31 March, our resorts in Tenerife hosted a very special event to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.
This charitable initiative was filled with fun and joy, thanks to the incredible work, dedication, and enthusiasm of the Team Marina teams at Ramada Costa Adeje, Wyndham Costa Adeje, and Wyndham Golf del Sur. Their creativity and commitment made the event a resounding success. We would also like to recognise the solidarity and involvement of all staff across the three hotels in supporting this important cause.
The day was characterised by a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, with staff and guests sharing unique moments through games, activities, and entertainment. Highlights included a performance by Loukmaan at Ramada Costa Adeje. Additionally, a raffle was organised, made possible by the generosity of our tour partners. The top prize — a week’s stay on the Costa del Sol or in Tenerife — was won by a guest at Ramada Residences by Wyndham Costa Adeje.
In line with our motto, ‘Together we are Stronger!’, a total of €2,588.44 was raised. The IDILIQ Foundation will match this amount and make an additional contribution, bringing the total donation to €6,000. These funds will go towards improving the quality of life for people with Down syndrome.
