The Cudeca Foundation has unveiled its 2025 annual report, highlighting the key achievements of its work and the significant impact of palliative care on the community.

Over the past year, Cudeca provided care for more than 1,900 patients, marking a 53% increase over the past decade. The patient profile remains highly complex, with a majority being cancer patients. Notably, 54% of patients were able to pass away at home, in line with their wishes — an outcome that underscores the success of Cudeca’s model, which integrates clinical care, psychosocial support, and strong community engagement. To deliver this care, the foundation operates nine home care teams, a 10-bed inpatient unit, and a paediatric palliative care day unit.

During the event, Cudeca also awarded its Badge to the IDILIQ Foundation in recognition of our unwavering social commitment to the foundation’s mission. Commenting on the award, Juan Miguel Marcos, president of the IDILIQ Foundation, said:

“We are one of the first companies to have supported Cudeca from the very beginning, including during the construction of its centre. Whenever they knock on our door, we are always ready to help — not only through financial contributions but also by volunteering in their fundraising campaigns, traditional walk, or annual dinner. Additionally, Cudeca is part of Kind Holidays, our ‘Holidays with a Heart’ programme.”

Looking ahead, Cudeca’s goal for 2026 is clear: to continue delivering the same exceptional standard of care to individuals with cancer and other advanced illnesses, while providing free support to their families.
