Under the slogan ‘Walk to Care at the End of Life’, the Cudeca Foundation will host its traditional Walkathon on Saturday 23rd May.

As in previous years, the IDILIQ Foundation is proudly sponsoring this significant event, which aims to raise funds to support Cudeca’s vital programmes, including home care, day care, hospitalisation, and specialist teams in psychosocial support, paediatrics, and physiotherapy.

This year, the Walkathon will take place at the Arroyo de la Miel Exhibition Centre, a larger venue that will accommodate more participants and provide a fresh, accessible experience for the whole family.

The day’s activities will begin at 9:30am, with the walk itself starting at 10:30am. Participants will follow a single, accessible 7km route, designed to include people of all ages and maximise support for palliative care. Alongside the walk, attendees can enjoy a variety of charity activities, including live music, a charity bar, a raffle, a Holi colour festival, and a charity paella. The event promises a welcoming atmosphere for sharing, enjoying, and contributing to a shared cause: supporting those in need.

Registration is now open online via the Entradium platform (https://entradium.com/events/marcha-por-cudeca-walkathon-2026). Tickets are priced at €12 for adults and €8 for children, and registration includes a welcome pack containing a T-shirt, water, fruit, and Holi powder. For those unable to attend, there is the option to contribute via Fila 0 by donating.

Cudeca is also seeking volunteers to assist on 23 May during the Walkathon. Anyone interested in helping can contact Mar, Lara, or Hernán for further details.

Don’t miss the chance to take part in this meaningful event.
