Volunteers from the IDILIQ Foundation recently gained first-hand insight into the invaluable work carried out by the Ronald McDonald House in Málaga — a place where compassion, care, and hope shine through every day.
The House provides free accommodation to families who travel to the city so their children can receive medical treatment. It offers not just a place to stay, but a warm and supportive environment where families feel cared for. Its mission is clear: to support sick children by keeping their families close, recognising that being together, near the hospital and loved ones, is a vital part of the recovery process.
Our volunteers were deeply moved as they listened to heartfelt stories, shared meaningful moments, and witnessed the profound impact this support has on so many families. They also had the privilege of visiting the room sponsored by the IDILIQ Foundation — a space that symbolises our commitment to families during their most challenging times.
The day concluded with a lively dance workshop that brought music, laughter, and a sense of togetherness to the House. Children, families, and volunteers joined in, creating a joyful atmosphere where, for a few hours, worries were replaced by play, connection, and happiness.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ronald McDonald House in Málaga for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of its remarkable work. We are also incredibly proud of our volunteers, whose generosity and dedication demonstrate that even the smallest gestures can make a big difference to those in need.
